is a joint creation of our young family, Greta and Augustas. It's not just about canelés. It's about a dream, perseverance, creativity and trust in each other.
My first encounter with canelés was back in childhood, and that's when I fell in love with them.
The idea of opening my own bakery had been on my mind since I was little, but it took a very long time to find the courage to start.
Encouraged by both friends and family, I tried to give up this dream, because it seemed… "not viable".
After trying 5 office jobs, I realised I couldn't run away from my dream, and with Augustas's support I dared to take the first steps.
That's when the real journey began: attempts, failures, tears and… even more attempts.
The recipe we use today is the result of several years of work, hundreds of attempts, burnt canelés and moulds, countless tears, patience and hope.
Greta
I take care of the things you can't taste – our online shop, packaging, orders, supplies and all the technical matters. In short, I do everything to make your experience as pleasant as possible.
Of course, I'm also the chief taster and the most honest critic – every new flavour goes through me first.
