A set of fresh French canelés for those who appreciate quality flavour. It can be an exceptional gift, a highlight for celebrations and parties, or a rich dessert with coffee.
We bake them in special copper moulds, which give canelés their authentic look and flavour. On the day of pickup the canelés will have a crisp caramelised crust and a soft, creamy, honeycombed centre. And if you prefer your canelés soft – keep them in the fridge overnight, just don't forget to let them come back to room temperature before eating.
In the recipe we use real vanilla pods from Uganda, which give a rich vanilla aroma. We also use real French rum, which gives the canelé its accent and brings out the flavour. Don't worry – the alcohol evaporates during baking, so canelés are suitable for children too!
